Hey! I'm Jan — a junior fullstack developer specialized in AI development, based in Urk, the Netherlands. I got hooked on IT during high school and never looked back.

I build everything from REST APIs and web interfaces to intelligent AI systems that actually solve problems. Right now I'm pushing that further at Windesheim University, studying Advanced Data Science & AI.

Outside of code: I play guitar in a band, and I'm building an AR helmet with a friend — because side projects should be ambitious.

MARITIME AI ASSISTANT
Built a RAG and KAG-powered AI assistant for Trusteddocks.com GmbH during my internship. The system enables intelligent querying over a maritime domain knowledge base — combining retrieval-augmented generation with knowledge-augmented approaches for accurate, context-aware answers at scale. This is the project that cemented my passion for AI development.
